Privacy Notice
Last updated 13 October 2026.
This notice explains how elemyra handles your information when you use elemyra.com, including the birth reading and any email you give us. We wrote it to be plain and honest. If anything is unclear, write to us at ryan@gesedge.com.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Global Edge Strategies LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. For any privacy question or request, contact ryan@gesedge.com.
What we collect, and why
Your birth details (date, time, and place). We use them to compute your reading in that request, and we do not store or log them, unless you choose to save a chart to your account. Then we keep that chart’s birth details, encrypted, until you delete the chart or your account. Birth details are never written to a share link, an analytics record, or an email. The legal basis is that you asked us for the reading, or to save it.
Your email address. We collect it only when you choose to give it: to sign in (which is also how you open your full reading) or to ask for launch news. To sign in, you can continue with Google or ask for a one-time link by email. There is no password. For launch news, we send one confirmation email, and you are on the list only after you click it. When you create an account from your reading, we send one welcome email; if you have not yet been asked about launch news, that welcome email carries the optional confirmation link, and again you join the list only if you click it. Every news email has an unsubscribe link. We store your email, the element your reading pointed to, a short tag for where you signed up, whether you asked for and confirmed launch news, and when you confirmed you are 13 or older. The legal basis for launch news is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Continue with Google. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address and a Google account identifier, and confirms the address is yours. We store that identifier next to your account so you can sign in again. We do not ask Google for, and do not keep, your name, photo or contacts. Google sees that you signed in to elemyra; its own privacy policy applies to that. Google sign-in is not available inside some apps’ built-in browsers or in some countries; the email link always works.
Your account and saved charts. If you sign in, you can save up to three charts: yours, or a family member’s with a short label like “Mum”. Only save someone else’s birth details if you are allowed to. Saved charts are encrypted.
Sign-in cookies. When you sign in, we set one cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. While you ask for a sign-in link or start a Google sign-in, two short cookies (15 minutes or less) tie that attempt to your browser so nobody else can use it. They are used for nothing else. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Your reading while you sign in. If you ask for a sign-in link from your reading, your browser keeps that reading (including the birth details you typed) in its own local storage for up to a day, so the reading is still there when you come back from the link. This stays on your device, is sent nowhere, and is cleared when you return, or after a day.
Your reading after a reload. While the browser tab is open, it keeps the reading on screen (including the birth details you typed) in its session storage, so reloading the page does not lose it. This stays on your device, is sent nowhere, and is cleared when you close the tab, or after a day.
A shared reading, if you create one. If you make a compare link, we store a display copy of that reading so the link works. It contains no birth details, and it expires automatically after 30 days.
Basic analytics. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics and simple counts of anonymous events (for example, how many readings were completed). These hold no personal information and do not track you across other sites.
Children
Anyone can get a reading. Accounts and email are for people aged 13 and older, who confirm their age when they give an email. If the birth date entered is under 13, we do not ask for an email address. An adult who is signed in may save a child’s chart. We never email the child.
How long we keep things
- Birth details: not kept, unless you save a chart. Saved charts stay until you delete them or your account.
- Email: kept while you have an account or are on the launch list.
- After you unsubscribe or delete your account, we keep only a scrambled code made from your email, which cannot be turned back into your address, so that we never send you launch news again. If you later ask us for a sign-in link, we still send it.
- Database backups clear deleted data within 30 days.
- Shared readings: 30 days, then deleted automatically.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising. We use these service providers, who act on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site, stores your account and email, provides the cookieless analytics, and runs Turnstile, a quick check on our email forms that keeps bots out.
- Purelymail sends our sign-in, welcome and confirmation emails.
- Google LLC verifies your identity when you choose Continue with Google.
Our infrastructure runs on a global network, so your information may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on the safeguards our providers offer.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable form. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in the United States, this includes the right to know what we hold and to have it deleted. We do not sell personal information.
You can delete your saved charts, or your whole account, yourself on the Your account page, and leave the launch list there or with the unsubscribe link in any news email. For a copy of your information, or any other request, email ryan@gesedge.com. We will respond within the time your local law allows.
